Wow! I can't believe it's already the night-before-the-day-of your departure. What a wonderful experience and adventure you guys have in store. I can't wait to read all about it on the blog, and live vicariously through your stories. Have fun and be safe.
Darryl, you're putting Colin to sleep right now. I hope you're sneaking in some good cuddles to hold you over the next couple of weeks. We're going to miss you so much (I'm already crying - it's this darned placenta!). I can't wait to see your pictures and hear your tales. We love you more than you can imagine. Don't forget to take your malaria pills! love s. xoxoxo
Bro - As Steph said, take those malaria pills, and if you get a persistant headache don't just shrug it off - see a doctor. Don't swim where there are reeds and standing water. Drink twice the water you think you need (from a sealed bottle). But - more than anything else - have fun and make sure the trip is rewarding for you. The Kenyan people are beautiful, as is Lake Victoria and the parks of Naivasha and Nakuru. Love you.
Chris
Hi All,
This is David A.'s big sister writing. I haven't had a chance to get to know any of you, but I will be watching this blog feeling very excited for you all.
Congratulations to you all for your hard work and commitment to making this experience happen.
There is going to be so much happening to you that is new and surprising to you. Savour it all if you can. Take lots of pictures and talk as much as you can about what you see, hear, taste, experience and feel.
God bless you all. Carolyn
